Idris Elba admits it wasn’t hard for him to get into character as a drug dealer in The Wire because he’s tried every drug going.
The 40-year-old, who portrayed drug lord Russell ‘Stringer’ Bell in the HBO show, admits he’s dabbled in more than just smoking marijuana, which he confessed he enjoyed between takes on the crime drama.
‘I’m not gonna lie — I’ve tried everything,’ he confessed.
‘I’ve tried it all. I played one of the biggest drug dealers in the world on TV, so you think I’d know what I was talking about.’
The Golden Globe winner also admitted that when it comes to his daughter Isan, with ex-wife Dormowa Sherma, he is a ‘very protective’ father and can’t help but be wary about boys around his little girl.

 You can drive yourself nuts as a parent, thinking about what boys do and what I got up to as a kid. If my kid got up to that same stuff, I’d be horrified.’
Elba revealed that despite being touted as one of the most beautiful men in Hollywood, he struggles to hold down a relationship or sometimes even get a date because of his profession.
‘I’ve been in and out of relationships, I’ve been married, and it’s hard to keep a relationship when you’re an actor,’ he explained to Playboy magazine.
‘A girl I knew said to me, “My dad told me, ‘Never date an actor or a DJ.’” It was over, right there on the spot. I was f*****.’


JUSTIN A SPOILED BRAT

Deadmau5 has taken another pop at Justin Bieber calling him a ‘spoiled b****’ for reportedly demanding the music be changed to his liking on a recent night out.
According to British DJ and producer Michael Woods, the Biebs interrupted his set in South Korea because he wanted to hear more hip-hop music instead of dance.
But when his request was refused, Woods claims the Canadian pop star took a ‘cheap shot’ at his tour manager.
‘So when I told @justinbieber to f*** off and put some clothes on he took a cheap shot at my tour manager and fled behind a wall of security,’ Woods posted on Twitter after the alleged incident on Saturday night.
